Some of us believe in destiny - that our future is predetermined by unseen forces. Some of us believe in autonomy - that we have free will and our choices determine our future. Most likely it is both - our internal thoughts and our external situations constantly interact with each other and thus shape our lives.
We choose our destinations, and our destinations shape us. As the world becomes smaller, and viewpoints become more diverse, international education is the foundation of a more peaceful world.
Next Sunday, April 10th, the person who will guide us through many of the education destinations is a college counselor, Mr. Phil Graner, from the United Kingdom.
Phil has been in education for more than 35 years. He taught Biology and Physical Education, supported domestic and international students in Canada, US and UK. Phill was the founding headmaster of Newcastle School for Boys (UK) and was one of the founding directors of an innovative Free School based in the West End of Newcastle upon Tyne in UK. Currently, Phil is working with students who are applying for universities in the USA, Canada, UK, Scotland and beyond. Phil is passionate about helping students to find scholarships and financial aid to achieve their dreams of studying abroad.
We look forward to Mr. Garner's Destination Workshop!
