This week, we are issuing award certificates and prizes to participants of the Local Actions for Global Goals Buddies Without Borders Online Forum. Here is a special shout-out to the hard work put forward by the Best Team, who not only earned top points for their individual and collective participation and analyses, but also won praises from our international panelists and team coaches. The Forum Outcome Report has now been published for your reference.
The Best Team consists of four students from four countries:

Zeynep Fatmanur Kaya - Muammer Guler Social Sciences High School - Türkiye
Darcy Jordan - American International School Cyprus - Ireland/France (living in Cyprus)
Lino Hayasaka - Shonan-Shirayuri Gakuen - Japan
Shareen Cerina Chauhan - Strawberry Fields High School - Chandigarh, India
From reforming the foreign language programs in public schools in Turkey, to offering second chance education to marginalized juveniles in India, to reducing tuition costs for the underserved in Japan, to providing vocational training in Cyprus, this team proposes that education reform can drive systemic change and contribute to SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Here is their winning presentation and proposal.
The road to world peace and equality is not one, but many. We hope to see more teens in the next Buddies Without Borders Online Forum to master the skills of collaboration, not grievance.
