Many youths want to change the world, but their success often depends on the support and guidance of a caring advisor. As we wrap up the school year, we would like to highlight the educators who have gone above and beyond to help global-minded teens to connect their passion with action.
Dr. Evgenia Roussou is not only a loving educator but also an accomplished musician.
The personal and loving care she extended to her students is evident. With her support,
the BWB Club at American International School, Cyprus, decided to focus on SDG 1:
No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and, SDG
12: Life Below Water. Their local action projects include amongst other, collaborations
with: the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) to support local
vulnerable families at Christmas and Easter; the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients
and Friends (PASYKAF) to create awareness and fundraise for this important cause;
and, the AISC ECO Club in a joined clean-up. Click here to see BWB Club at AISC's 2023 Local Action Project.
