"I am really enjoying the current ecotourism form and I have learned so much that I am already trying to implement some changes here in my community regarding ecotourism, and I am very happy that I got the chance to work with you and the rest of the forum members....one of the best courses I have ever taken!" ~ Jona K., Student, Macedonia
Today our Green is the New Gold Forum enters its mid-section where students present their ideas to other teams for constructive criticisms. The process of how we think impacts directly the quality of the end product. We have now completed the initial country comparison, the SWOT analysis and landscape presentation. It is time to think about potential solutions - by researching the best practices, thinking boldly and sounding off with key stakeholders, our ideas become more mature and nuanced.
After each Global Session, students also get to hear from professors from around the world on how to move forward to pursue their passion. Successful participants win international internships and the opportunities to establish BWB Clubs in their schools and start implementing changes in the community right away.
The next Forum will challenge future influencers to use their digital power to meet global goals. Let's harness the power of social media. Here is the Project Plan and Application Link. See you soon!
