Last night our BWB Club members from eight countries got together to take on a tough topic: "up to which week of pregnancy should abortion be legal?" Tonight the Social Media for Global Good Online Forum will conduct a breakout session so each team can introduce its top three ideas of using social media to solve their assigned SDG challenge.
When multiple perspectives can be true at the same time, how do we decide which one to advocate for? How do we translate these messages to actionable items? What changes do we wish to make?
Here at GED, we believe that there is always more than one way to look at an issue, and having the ability and mindset to integrate these diverse ideas into a cohesive judgment is the key to our joint peace and growth. So, beyond the articulate debtors, the studious researchers, and the strategic deal-makers, what we aim to nurture are integratively complex thought leaders who can follow through with actions to make a positive change in the world.
If you see what we see, we would love for you to join us. The application for the next Forum is open: Good Health and Well-being for Teens.
