In the 2026-2027 school year, youth should recognize AI's impact on the global economy and understand that societal progress varies, especially in environmental and economic issues.
This is why AI and Sustainable Tourism will be the focus of the Fall BWB Forum. (October 17 - December 12, 2026. Application is now open.) You will be teamed up with students from around the world.
The forum extends beyond international collaborations. Winners can establish BWB Clubs in their schools, serving as hubs for local projects where students lead initiatives important to their communities.
Club members meet online monthly to exchange cultures and perspectives, fostering confidence and demonstrating that small actions can contribute to global goals. This creates a network of motivated youth supporting each other.
Those excelling in local projects and demonstrating critical thinking may lead BWB international internship teams in the following school year, managed by Leadership Initiatives, which prepare young people for international careers, influence positive change, and connect them with mentors.
Successful interns may jump-start their careers and become coaches for new BWB Forum participants, gaining part-time job experience as international communication professionals.
Buddies Without Borders offers a journey from online collaboration to local action, international internships, and leadership coaching, equipping young people to face challenges and become the leaders the world needs.
This school year, join Buddies Without Borders and be part of a global movement for positive change.
