Today, we will spotlight Zaineb Zouaoui from Tunisia (attending Gems International School, UAE). Zaineb is one of the Top Five Finishers of the Multiculturalism for the Common Good Online Forum.

Zaineb proposed a comprehensive plan after conducting an in-depth analysis of the current affairs based on her interviews with her teammates: Mara Camacho Moyano (Colegio los Sauces Vigo, Spain), Shailee Vatsal (Acton Boxborough Regional High School, USA), and Aubrey Guillaume (The Walker School, USA). Zaineb attempted to answer the question, "To what extent is diversity and belonging controlled and shaped by governments, societies, and history?" Zaineb acknowledged that "multiculturalism does not erase discrimination nor does it ensure happiness," but emphasizes that it does help to create a more peaceful world. Most importantly, she urges us to reflect: "Are we willing to challenge our own biases as much as we expect society to change? Multiculturalism is not just a system; it is a choice we live by every single day."
